Letting it go

We had purchased a home in Savona BC, conditional on the sale of our home and a few inspections. It was a cute 1300 sq ft home in a small town of 650 people and would have been perfect for us. However we received the septic tank inspection report and it looks like there are a few issues. Can they be fixed? Absolutely, however knowing there are small issues has got me concerned that there may be more and that it may sooner than later cost a heck of alot more to get the whole thing replaced. After much discussion and thinking we have decided to let it go. Our big concern is that there isn't much in Kamloops that makes sense for a good price but we have time it's not like our house is going any where fast.
It was nice that we had found a place and would have been able to scratch one thing off the list but now Chris will be looking again on his days off and hopefully find us something soon.
They do say to follow your gut, right?? Because my gut was saying "HOLD ON A SEC" so I hope I heard it correctly.

Oh, thats too bad. My sister lives in Salmon Arm, just about 45 mins from there. They build homes there. If you want a commute, im sure they could hook you up...but im sure you aren't!!!Especially in the mountains.
Good luck on the hunt.

I'm sure your gut was right! When it comes to houses you know your stuff! Hang in there...something better will come along!

Sorry to hear that ... but it just means there will be something EVEN better and perfectly suited for you.

And, having spent a good part of my life in Kamloops [and Savana] you'll enjoy it there muchly.
